Act I: The Merchant's Quest
Scene 1: A bustling marketplace in an ancient Arab city.
Enter Seal, a merchant of renown, whose eyes gleam with the lustre of the stars. His voice, rich as a summer's night, speaks of his longing for a treasure unseen, a love unmet.
Seal:
"In this world of trade and treasure,
My heart seeks a different measure.
Beyond gold and earthly pleasure,
A quest for love, in boundless measure."
Scene 2: The edge of a mystical forest.
Seal, drawn by tales of mystery, enters the forest. The trees whisper secrets of old, guiding him deeper into the heart of nature.
Chorus:
"In woods deep, where secrets keep,
A spirit fair, with midnight hair,
Doth lie in wait, to meet her fate,
In love's sweet snare, beyond compare."
Act II: The Enchanted Meeting
Scene 1: A clearing in the forest.
Ludovika, spirit of the forest, appears. She is as ethereal as the moon's soft glow, her eyes reflecting the wisdom of the woods.
Ludovika:
"Who ventures here, in my domain,
Seeking what, in sun or rain?
Speak, O man, with heart so plain,
Thy purpose here, to ascertain."
Seal, struck by her beauty, professes his quest for love, for a connection beyond the material world.
Seal:
"O spirit fair, in this woodland lair,
I seek a bond, beyond the pond,
Of worldly gain, of joy and pain,
In thee, I find, a kindred mind."
Their conversation weaves a tapestry of understanding and affection. They speak of stars, of dreams, of the delicate dance of nature.
Scene 2: A moonlit night.
Their bond deepens under the celestial sky. Promises of eternal love are whispered. But as fate would have it, their happiness is short-lived.
Act III: The Pit Devil's Scheme
Scene 1: The same clearing, now under a clouded sky.
Enter Elephant, the pit devil, envious of their love. His form is as formidable as his heart is dark, his presence a blight on the land.
Elephant:
"Love so pure, I cannot endure,
This bond you seek, I shall make weak,
For in my heart, a venomous art,
Shall tear apart, your lover's heart."
Scene 2: A confrontation under the stormy heavens.
Elephant, with trickery and deceit, ensnares Ludovika, casting a spell that blinds her to Seal's love.
Ludovika, bewitched:
"Who art thou, with furrowed brow?
Thy face, unknown, thy love, unshown,
Begone from here, with all thou hold dear,
In darkness, fear, thy end is near."
Seal, in despair, attempts to remind her of their bond, but the spell is too strong.
Seal, heartbroken:
"O cruel fate, with spiteful bait,
Hath stolen thee, from love and me.
In shadows deep, I shall keep,
Our memories, in endless sleep."
Scene 3: A solemn farewell.
The play concludes with Seal leaving the forest, his heart heavy with sorrow. Ludovika, lost in the spell, fades into the forest, her true self imprisoned.
Chorus:
"In woods where love once freely roamed,
Now lies a heart, forever gloamed.
For though the world continues bright,
In their souls, eternal night."
