Still Mind (Ex): A monk of 3rd level or higher gains a +2 bonus on saving throws against spells and effects from the school of enchantment.
Ki Strike (Su): At 4th level, a monk’s unarmed attacks are empowered with ki. Her unarmed attacks are treated as magic weapons for the purpose of dealing damage to creatures with damage reduction.
Slow Fall (Ex): At 4th level or higher, a monk within arm’s reach of a wall can use it to slow her descent. When first using this ability, she takes damage as if the fall were 20 feet shorter than it actually is.
Purity of Body (Ex): At 5th level, a monk gains immunity to all diseases except for supernatural and magical diseases.
角色背景: 凯莫因冒险小队的搭救在一次兽人的袭击中幸存,队伍中的人类武僧见他坚韧不拔,就传授了基本技艺。数十年勤练不缀,凯莫武艺已有小成,但矮人根性使他无法顿悟所谓“内力”,反而身体因淬炼越发强健。
或许这就是其师所言“修行在个人”。少时伤痛在多年历练中渐渐抚平,如今他在冒险习武之余经营的“骆驼酒馆”在临冬镇周围也是小有名气,虽无法盈利至一方巨贾,但也在和平门附近口碑颇佳,真正的冒险者和消息贩子不介意绕个远来这里尝尝纯正的矮人黑啤,并碰碰运气。如今凯莫早把酒馆经营托付给族人,每天习练武艺之余也到镇卫队切磋、任教,民兵们敬畏的“石拳”,在镇卫队的熟人口中却是有些古板严肃的“骆驼”。
缺乏矮人的耳濡目染使他看起来不是典型的矮人,因而无法真正融于临冬镇的矮人圈子(当然也不受排斥);其他种族出于各种原因亦无法真正接受他,凯莫行走时常形单影只。值得庆幸的是凯莫有一群真正的冒险者朋友,凯莫心中珍视这种关系,并期待着同他们一起迎接下一次的冒险。
凯莫与熟人相处话较多,心中坚定追求的是师傅所说的“人定胜天”,希望通过自身锻炼达到超凡入圣的境界。他并不畏惧危险,必要时甚至可以为朋友付出牺牲,这是“武者武德”的体现,也是修炼途中必经的过程。至少凯莫是这么理解的。
凯莫艺成后自临冬镇接下一个冒险任务,幸运的完成了试炼,积攒下第一桶金。然而此时师傅已走,凯莫在陌生的临冬镇举目无亲,在矮人奥斯卡(Oscar)的酒馆排
遣时间时适逢黑衣人来收保护费,执拗的矮人在武僧的帮助下打退这一波流氓,但惹来了后续无数的麻烦,在各种势力(包括商会的经营压力)的夹缝中,酒馆数次
搬迁,关门再开张……而当凯莫有了真正的冒险同伴,并在镇上拥有了一定知名度之后,酒馆一夜间摆脱了所有麻烦。在生活困境中凯莫和奥斯卡成为了真正的好友
,最终奥斯卡把酒馆搬迁到和平门边僻静的路边,因为期间凯莫的注资和他们的友情(以及广告效应),酒馆定名为“骆驼酒馆”。酒馆除常规的饮食、酒水外,2楼
有为熟客预留的房间(凯莫和乌特加德有固定房间),后院为厨房、厢房、奥斯卡及酒馆伙计的住处。真正的熟客可以在骆驼买到乌特加德的铁匠产品、凯莫等人冒
险所得常规物品,偶尔还有来自某个商队的特殊魔法物品出售。凯莫在镇卫队做陪练、摔跤教师的收入会直接送至酒馆,他从未取过分文,而骆驼酒馆也成为了不愿
